Refund Policy

What happens to your money when you upgrade, cancel or change your mind — written plainly, before you pay rather than after. Pogpin's Free plan exists so nobody has to buy blind.

The short version

A plain-English summary. The full text below is the version that applies.

  • The Free plan is the trial. Run a real project on it for as long as you like, with no card and no time limit.
  • Paid plans are non-refundable, monthly and annual alike — including partial periods.
  • Cancel any time. The next charge stops and you keep every paid feature until the period you already paid for runs out.
  • We do fix our own mistakes — duplicate charges, billing errors and charges after a cancellation are refunded in full.

This policy covers every payment made for Pogpin. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and it applies to subscriptions, add-ons and any other charge on your account.

Try before you pay

Pogpin’s Free plan is not a countdown timer. It carries one active project, unlimited clients and guests, two team members and thirty days of feedback history — enough to run a real client site end to end and find out whether the product fits how you work.

Because that trial has no deadline and no card attached, we do not offer refunds on paid plans. Upgrade once you already know the tool works for you.

In plain English we would rather you took a month on the Free plan than paid for something you hadn’t tried. Nothing about the paid tiers is a surprise you need to be refunded out of.

Subscriptions are non-refundable

Payments for Pogpin subscriptions — monthly and annual — are final and non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for time left unused after a cancellation or downgrade.

That applies whether you paid for one month or twelve, and whether or not the workspace was used during the period.

Cancelling

You can cancel from your workspace billing settings at any time, without talking to anyone:

  • your subscription stops renewing immediately;
  • every paid feature stays available until the end of the period you already paid for;
  • at the end of that period the workspace drops to the Free plan — your data stays, the limits of the Free plan apply again.

Downgrading between paid plans works the same way: the new, lower price takes effect at the next renewal, and the difference for the current period is not refunded.

In plain English cancelling never cuts you off early and never gives money back for the days you have left. You keep what you paid for, right up to the last one.

Add-ons, overages and one-off charges

Add-ons, extra seats, usage overages and any other one-off charge are consumed as they are used and are non-refundable once the charge has been made. Removing an add-on stops it from being billed again at the next renewal.

When we do refund

The policy above is about changing your mind. It is not a way for us to keep money we should never have taken. We refund in full, without argument, when:

  • you were charged twice for the same period;
  • a billing error on our side charged the wrong amount or the wrong plan;
  • you were charged after cancelling, or after your subscription should have ended;
  • a paid feature was unavailable for a sustained period because of an outage or defect on our side, and we could not make it right.

Email hello@pogpin.com with the invoice and what went wrong. A person reads it, and we aim to answer within two business days.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live — including, in the EEA and the UK, any statutory right of withdrawal on a digital service. Where such a right applies, it wins over anything written above. Tell us and we will honour it.

Who takes the payment

Our payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Record for Pogpin. That means Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your purchase, handles the transaction, taxes and invoicing, and appears on your card or bank statement rather than “Pogpin”.

Approved refunds are issued by Dodo Payments back to the original payment method. Their own terms and refund handling apply in addition to this policy, and they may act on a payment independently of us.

In plain English if you are looking at a statement line you do not recognise, check for Dodo Payments — that is us.

How a refund is paid

Where a refund is approved:

  • it goes back to the original payment method; we cannot send it anywhere else;
  • it is issued in the original currency, and your bank’s exchange rate at the time of the refund may differ from the rate at the time of the charge;
  • it usually appears within five to ten business days, depending on your bank;
  • we email you a credit note for your records.

Chargebacks and abuse

Please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank — almost everything is faster to fix directly.

Refund eligibility does not survive fraud or abuse. We may decline a refund, and may suspend or close the account, where a payment is reversed or disputed without contacting us first, where the account breaches our Terms & Conditions, or where the service or a refund is obtained by fraudulent or abusive means. Unpaid amounts left after a reversed payment remain due.

Taxes

Refund amounts include any VAT, GST or sales tax that was charged, where the applicable tax rules allow that tax to be returned. Dodo Payments handles the tax treatment as Merchant of Record.

Changes to this policy

If we change how refunds work we will update the date at the top of this page. The version in force when you paid is the version that applies to that payment.

Talk to a human

Billing questions, an invoice that looks wrong, or a charge you cannot place — email hello@pogpin.com. We read every message.
