Review PDFs, images and video
Upload a file and pin feedback to a PDF page, an image region or an exact video frame — same pins, same statuses and same board as a website review.
On this page
Client work is rarely only a website. A deck, an export, a cut of a video — all of them collect the same vague feedback, and all of them land in the same place in Pogpin. File review is the project section for anything that is not a live page: pin feedback directly to screenshots, PDF pages and video frames.
Upload
Upload file, drop files onto the panel, or paste them from the clipboard. Supported formats and limits:
- Images and PDF — up to 50 MB
- Video — MP4, WebM and MOV, up to 500 MB
Anything else answers Unsupported file type rather than uploading half of it.
Pin the thing you mean
The hint under every surface is the same: click or drag the file to pin feedback. Click for a point, drag for a region — an area pin when the problem is a whole block, not one word.
Each pin becomes an issue with a status, a priority and an assignee, exactly like a pin dropped on a site. The feedback panel filters by Open / All, searches the text, and sorts by newest, oldest or workflow order.
PDFs, page by page
A PDF opens with a thumbnail rail, a page slider and page-by-page navigation. On top of that:
- Select text to quote it — the quoted sentence is carried into the comment, so “page 6, the bit about renewals” stops being a riddle.
- Search PDF jumps between matching pages.
- Copy PDF as Markdown lifts the document’s text out for a brief or an agent.
- Pogpin labels what it is working with — Text PDF, Image-only PDF, Scanned PDF, Mixed PDF — and tells you when pages would need OCR, so nobody wonders why search finds nothing in a scan.
Fit width and Fit page control zoom; the pages-with-feedback list shows which pages already carry pins.
Video, by frame and by range
Pause the video, then click the frame: pause, then click the frame to pin feedback. The pin stores the timecode, and opening it later reopens the player on that frame.
For a problem that spans time rather than one moment, mark range start and end it further along — the pin then covers a range, e.g. 00:41–00:47, instead of a single instant. Frame-by-frame stepping and playback speed make it possible to land on the right frame rather than near it.
Versions and comparison
Every file keeps its history. Upload new version adds v2 alongside v1, feedback stays attached to the version it was left on, and Compare with v1 puts the two side by side — the fastest way to answer “did that actually change?”.
Deleting a file removes every version and all of its feedback, so the confirmation spells that out.
Zen mode
For a long review, Zen mode hides the surrounding UI and leaves the artwork and the pins. Esc exits.

- Route new pins to the right channel: route pins to Slack, Discord and webhooks.
- Turn the pile into a backlog: triage pins into tracked issues.
